One of the main sectors in which the Galbiati Group operates is Energy. Our company has, for some time now, specialised in the precision machining of large-sized parts and components for the leading international producers of steam, gas, hydraulic and wind turbines.
We have recently carried out the boring and deep-boring of the external housing of a large-sized steam turbine.
Dimensions of the assembled turbine housing:
- Width = 6500 mm
- Height = 5200 mm
- Depth = 2900 mm
- Weight = 38000 kg
