Large pinion stand drive for rolling mill

We recently designed a largetwin-drive gearbox for a leading Italian rolling mill.

It is a large pinion stand mill drive gearbox five-stand Tandem, weighing 30,000 kg, intended for a rolling mill.

Some technical data:

• 4×1,100 kW at 1000 rpm – cylinders with an internal diameter of 610 mm
