Galbiati recently designed a large splitter gearbox for a leading Italian hot rolling mill.

It is a large pinion stand drive for a hot-rolling mill that handles steel profiles.

Some technical data:

• 1000 kW at 17 rpm – cylinders with an internal diameter of 720 mm
